In August, representatives from Clarke Energy Australia attended the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum, held in the heart of Australia’s gold mining community, Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
The Forum was attended by over 2,000 delegates from across the world and combined 66 presentations by leading minds within the resources sector, discussing the future of the industry, alongside an exhibition area housing over 150 exhibitors including exploration companies, equipment and service providers, and government agencies.
With a 20-strong media contingent, the event’s proceedings were in the limelight, ensuring that the innovations, discussions, and collaborations initiated at the event were echoed across the global mining community.
As the mining industry undergoes a significant transformation, with sustainability and efficiency at its core, the Clarke Energy team members provided information to exhibition attendees in relation to our gas-fuelled, hydrogen ready INNIO Jenbacher engines.
The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing interest in Clarke Energy’s products and services, evidence that our solutions resonate with the current needs and future aspirations of the mining industry.
For Clarke Energy, the forum wasn’t just an event; it was an opportunity. An opportunity to engage, to learn, and to showcase. Our sponsorship of the Cocktail Party event on the inaugural evening was a highlight, providing a relaxed setting for delegates to network, renew relationships, and forge new connections.
This less formal setting combined business with pleasure, while being the perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations, allowing industry professionals to discuss the future, Clarke Energy was thrilled to stream the Matilda’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023TM qualifier against Denmark, with the energy in the exhibition area mirroring the spirit of the team on screen.
Representatives from Clarke Energy included Main Board Director, Australasia, Greg Columbus, Sales & Business Development Director, Michael Jones, Regional Sales Manager – WA & NT, David Jose, and Engineering Director, Scott Scholz, all of whom were able to provide insights to forum delegates and exhibition attendees on Clarke Energy’s developments in the mining industry, and information in relation to the company’s hybrid power solutions.
Michael Jones, Clarke Energy’s Sales & Business Development Director, says:
“Our attendance at the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum once again provided Clarke Energy Australia with a unique platform to engage with mining industry professionals, to further understand emerging trends, and to showcase our cutting-edge solutions, underscoring our commitment to the mining and resources sector. The energy, the discussions, and the collaborations initiated this year have left us invigorated, and already looking forward to a bigger and better event in 2024.”
Greg Columbus, Clarke Energy’s Main Board Director and Managing Director, Australasia, states additionally:
“Clarke Energy continues the legacy of being a very strong supporter of the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum and the mining industry as a whole, with our ongoing commitments and presence at this event being reflected in our company’s growth within the sector.”
