Through the installation of a Tecno Project Industriale (TPI) biogas upgrading solution with a recovery unit, we’ve enabled the recovery of liquid renewable CO2, supporting the decarbonisation of the gas grid. This project exemplifies the potential of integrated solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the circular economy by repurposing waste in valuable resources. The project reportedly has the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 4,000 tons CO2 equivalent per year.
But the story doesn’t end there. Once the CO2 is recovered, it is sold to CARBONORD, a leading company specialising in dry ice production. This dry ice is then used for a variety of applications, including dry ice cleaning, temperature-controlled transport, cooling of mechanical parts, cold maintenance, and even for events. By closing the loop and repurposing CO2 into valuable products, we’re further driving sustainability and contributing to achieving net zero targets.
