We are delighted to announce that Clarke Energy and AGR Renewables state-of-the-art, hybrid energy system at Fenlands Greenhouse, won “Project of the Year” at AMPS – the Association of Manufacturers Power Systems – Awards for Excellence!
This is the second award the scheme has scooped and we would like to thank all involved, especially AGR Renewables and Clarke Energy’s engineering and projects teams.
The glasshouse grows 10% of the UK’s cucumbers, using 30% less CO2 than a conventionally heated build. It also combines a 33MWth heat-pump system with 3x INNIO Group Jenbacher gas engines and recovered CO2 for the growing process.
