Power Nigeria will be a platform for the Nigerian energy industry to meet and discuss developments in the sector. The event will take place between the 18-20th September 2012 at the Abuja International Conference Centre.
The event will include an exhibition featuring leading international players in the energy sector. The Nigerian Government has set ambitious targets for the expansion of electricity production in the country. Clarke Energy has extensive experience of operating in the Nigerian market. We have now supplied and installed over 150MW of gas-based power plants in the country to a number of major customers requiring captive power plants for the provision of stable, reliable and economical electricity. These include Guinness (at both Ogba and Benin), Chi, PZ Cousins, Oando, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Honeywell Flour Mills, Bel Papyrus, Proctor & Gamble, OK Foods, GlaxoSmithKline and many more. Clarke Energy is a specialist in the provision of combined heat and power (CHP) through cogeneration via embedded power plants.
There are also significant opportunities in Nigeria to establish power plants operating on flare gas in the delta area. These associated petroleum gas generators can be used to reduce pollution and provide stable on-site power.
