Foodex is the exhibition for everyone involved in the food and drinks industry. This also includes packaging and logistics. Using natural gas or using waste to produce biogas, the food and drinks sector is one that has all the possibilities to improve energy efficiency. This will ensure reduction of carbon emissions and lower the cost of electricity bills. Food industries can reduce operating costs and carbon emissions, by using a combined heat and power plant fuelled by natural gas, self-generating electricity and using heat for process requirements. Foodex 2014 will take place from the 24th till the 26th of March at NEC Birmingham.
