Clarke Energy are delighted to have recently been awarded the contract to design, supply, deliver and commission four Kohler KD1500-F high efficiency, emergency diesel generators locally packaged into custom built, low noise enclosures for the expansion of DCI’s Kidman Park data centre.

DCI Data Centers’ Operations Centre at Kidman Park, South Australia is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days. DCI Data centers are a sought-after provider, as they are carrier neutral and have capacity for satellite and antennae equipment on their roof space.
Due to the highly specialised and business critical nature of DCI’s work, they sought a dependable, reputable provider of backup emergency diesel generator units to support their recent expansion and increased capacity requirements.

DCI’s Kidman Park site capacity will be increased by 4MW taking it up to 5.4MW total IT Load with Zone 3 physical security and above.
Kohler diesel powered generator sets and components, including the KD1500-F systems, offer exceptional quality; they are prototype-tested, factory-built, and production-tested. Kohler provides one-source responsibility for its generating systems and accessories and offers a minimum three-year limited warranty covers all systems and components.
