At Clarke Energy, we are committed to embracing diversity and inclusivity within the engineering industry. This commitment was exemplified on 21st June 2024 as our Nigerian office collaborated with Bells University of Technology to commemorate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED). Themed ‘#EnhancedbyEngineering’, the event was a great way to empower women in the engineering field.
The event at Bells University of Technology featured an esteemed panel of speakers including Chisom Onwubiko, Monsurat Akanji, Nanaishat U., and Toluwani Fajimi (ACIPM, HRPL) from Clarke Energy, alongside Deputy Dean Olamide Olusanya. These accomplished professionals shared their journeys, insights, and the challenges they have faced within the industry. Their stories and achievements not only highlighted the significant contributions women make to engineering but also reinforced the importance of diversity in driving innovation.
Special thanks to Bells University of Technology for hosting this inspiring event and to all participants who made it a resounding success.
