Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition 2025

The 19th edition of Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition 2025 is set to take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, bringing together textile and garment professionals from around the world. The event will showcase state-of-the-art machinery, tools, technologies, and solutions for the textile and garment manufacturing industries. Covering a wide range of sectors—from garment production and textile printing to fiber production and garment finishing—DTG 2025 is set to be a key platform for international businesses looking to tap into one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly growing textile markets.

Natural gas plays a crucial role in Bangladesh’s economy, serving as a primary energy source for industry, electricity production, transportation, and households. However, the country is currently facing significant challenges due to dwindling gas reserves and supply shortages. Resolving the issues facing the Textile & Garment (RMG) sector is crucial not only for the livelihoods of millions of workers but also for the overall economic stability of Bangladesh. However, the ongoing gas crisis poses significant challenges to the sector, as energy shortages can disrupt production, increase operational costs, and undermine competitiveness. To mitigate this situation, the Government is looking at exploring new gas fields and contemplating on incentivizing exploration by international oil and gas companies to find new reserves. In addition, gas field management is being undertaken focusing on maintenance and enhancement of existing gas fields to prolong their viability. It is equally important for Bangladesh to have a long-term energy strategy that not only addresses immediate shortfalls, but also plans for future sustainable energy use. The policy should aim to balance the energy mix, incorporating renewable sources, nuclear power, and clean fossil fuels such as LNG. The dire need for renewable energy (e.g. biogas, solar, wind) is also being seen by Govt. and other involved organizations to solve the mitigating gas price and energy shortage.

Clarke Energy’s offices in Bangladesh and INNIO’s Jenbacher are jointly participating in the exhibition showcasing technologies enabling efficient onsite power, heating, and cooling. The offered solutions are applied in a variety of commercial, industrial, and municipal applications, particularly in industrial power generation, combined heat, and power (CHP)/cogeneration facilities, and renewable waste-to-energy projects. INNIO’s Jenbacher engines are packaged generator sets and cogeneration and trigeneration units for power generation. Ranging in power from 250 kW to 10.6 MW, Jenbacher engines pave the way for the global transition to net zero by running on a broad range of energy sources, from pipeline gas to hydrogen. These include other renewable gases such as biogas, biomethane, landfill gas, and sewage gas, as well as special gases such as syngas. The product is backed with unparalleled engineering and large-scale power project execution expertise from Clarke Energy coupled with innovative after-sales-service products aimed to deliver greatest total value to our customers and the most attractive economics over the entire life cycle.
