Successful Participation at Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition 2025

As a leading provider of gas-to-power solutions, we, Clarke Energy Bangladesh Limited were thrilled to participate in the Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG 2025), held from February 20-23 at the International Convention City Bashundhara. This event brought together the best and brightest from the textile and garment manufacturing sectors, and it was the perfect platform for us to showcase how our gas-powered solutions can drive efficiency, sustainability, and cost savings for the industry.

Abhijit Rajguru – DGM Marketing & Business Development [India & Bangladesh] commented:
“For us, DTG 2025 was more than just an exhibition; it was an opportunity to connect with textile and garment manufacturers, engineers, and decision-makers who are looking for reliable and efficient power solutions. The textile industry in Bangladesh is booming, and the demand for uninterrupted power supply and energy-efficient systems has never been higher. Our participation allowed us to showcase how our advanced gas-to-power solutions using world class INNIO’s Jenbacher reciprocating gas engine technology can deliver the critical power needed for the high-demand environments. Textile and garment manufacturers in Bangladesh face constant challenges related to energy consumption, fuel costs, and power interruptions. Gas-to-power systems offer a highly efficient alternative. By utilizing natural gas or biogas, we can provide a clean, sustainable, and cost-effective power solution tailored to the specific needs of textile factories. At DTG 2025, we had the opportunity to explain how our EPC [Engineering – Procurement – Construction] expertise for gas-to-power solutions can significantly reduce energy costs. With the rising costs of electricity, many textile manufacturers are seeking alternatives that provide long-term savings, and Jenbacher gas-powered generators fit that need perfectly. Additionally, we highlighted how our systems can help reduce carbon footprints, aligning with the growing emphasis on sustainability in the textile industry”.

At our booth, we alongside INNIO Jenbacher demonstrated the latest innovations in gas-to-power technology including use of hydrogen for power generation [Jenbacher gas engines being hydrogen ready]. One of the key highlights was our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system, which maximizes efficiency by capturing and utilizing the waste heat generated during the power generation process. This solution is ideal for textile plants that need both electricity and thermal energy for processes such as dyeing and drying.

Beyond showcasing our solutions on use of natural gas, biogas, propane, and hydrogen for power generation application, DTG 2025 provided an invaluable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, potential customers, and fellow exhibitors. The event helped us to connect with key decision-makers who expressed genuine interest in exploring how Jenbacher gas-to-power technology can transform their operations. It was clear from the conversations we had that the textile sector in Bangladesh is eager to invest in energy solutions that will make their operations more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible.

Abhijit added “We at Clarke Energy alongside INNIO are empowering the transition to net zero with energy solutions and services that are flexible, scalable, and resilient”.
