This meeting included around twenty companies with the chancellor answering specific questions affecting companies’ ability to trade internationally. There was also a discussion around the concept of the Northern Power House and how that will affect companies in the Northern regions of England.
UK Trade and Investment’s Director in the North West Clive Drinkwater made the opening remarks and specifically made mention of Clarke Energy’s recent commencement of business in Cameroon following GE’s announcement they were granting distributor and service provider status to Clarke Energy in the country.
