Clarke Energy’s team in France have provided above and beyond unscheduled service support to our customers during the COVID pandemic. After an issue was reported, it was determined that a complete short block replacement was required on the Jenbacher J320 engine installed at the non-hazardous waste landfill site of Septêmes les Vallons operated by Veolia,
As the site was not under a service contract, there was no obligation to maintain the engine or financial benefit to Clarke Energy. However, service is at the heart of Clarke Energy’s business ethos and support was provided to guarantee continuity of production for Veolia at the important landfill site.
The short block replacement was completed in March and April during the height of the COVID pandemic. A team of three Clarke Energy service technicians worked together with a lifting partner in order to complete the work, under strict social distancing and hygiene guidelines.
